On June 24, with the theme of "Strengthening the Cultivation of High-tech Firms with an Integration between Industry and Education", the first Xiamen Forum on Industry-Education Integration was held.

On June 10, the Inter-disciplinary manager cultivation program (second session) of Xiamen Torch Academy was officially launched, and 44 technical backbones from 23 enterprises participated in the training and teaching.

On May 27, Xiamen Torch Academy held the first course open day. Lin Hongyu, vice-president of Huaqiao University, and Dong Guanpeng, dean of the Institute of Public Relations and Strategic Communications of the Communication University of China, gave lectures on "Trend Insight".

On May 13, together with the China Association for Small and Medium Commercial Enterprises, the academy held a dialogue by Hermann Simon, the father of "Hidden Champions", with Xiamen entrepreneurs.

On May 9, a symposium to celebrate the first anniversary of the establishment of Xiamen Torch Academy was held, and the first anniversary image film "Torch in Action" was released.

On April 22, the strategic leadership program for outstanding entrepreneurs (spring semester) was launched.

On Feb 24, the first customized project - the ability-improving class for middle-level backbones of state-owned enterprises and institutions in the Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High-tech Industries - was held.

On Jan 18, together with the Xiamen Entrepreneurship and Investment Association, the academy held the second salon of the Torch Innovation and Sharing Meeting with the theme of "Change and Breakthrough: China's High-tech Industry in 2022".

On Dec 21, together with the Fujian Artificial Intelligence Association, the academy held the launching activities of the Torch Innovation and Sharing Meeting with the theme of "Metaverse Promotes Industrial Change".

On Dec 17, 49 students graduated from the strategic leadership program for outstanding entrepreneurs (first session) of Xiamen Torch Academy, and a new book launching ceremony of the case collection Beyond Excellence was held.

On Dec 7, the Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High-tech Industries, Xiamen Ocean Vocational College and the Xiamen Institute of Software Technology jointly established a vocational skills upgrading center and held the unveiling ceremony.

On Nov 3, Professor Huang Qifan, former mayor of Chongqing and distinguished professor of Fudan University, was invited to give a lecture on the theme of a "New Strategic Path for China's Development under the New Development Stage, Philosophy and Dynamic".

On Oct 18, the academy jointly launched the cultivation program for technologically advanced enterprises in the Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High-tech Industries with Renmin University of China.

On Sept 3, the professional competency program for young talents was launched.

On July 22, the academy joined hands with the Business School of Renmin University of China to hold a high-end roundtable, focusing on "Digital Transformation and Organizational Reconstruction".

On June 5, the strategic leadership program for outstanding entrepreneurs (first session) at Xiamen Torch Academy launched.

On May 10, 30 well-known strategic, academic and industrial experts were hired to form the advisory team. The academy also established strategic cooperative relations with 18 partners, and hosted the New Industrial Revolution Forum sponsored by the Xiamen Municipal People's Government and New Development Bank.

On May 9, Xiamen Torch Academy was established. Irina Bokova, former director-general of UNESCO, was appointed honorary president of the academy.
